Hi, I'm talking with someone who wants to make an award kind of like this sculpture design: http://www.bathsheba.com/gallery/archive/moonpi/ They'd like it to be a single piece, i.e. not an assembled puzzle like the original design, about 6" diameter, printed steel (I'm guessing bronze finish) mounted to a wood base (it might be possible to make them take care of the wood part, but at the least it would need a mounting pin). I can't do extra design work right now, and I'd like to hand this off to someone with some geometry-art chops. You? I can consult on printability if you are experienced with geometrical sculpture but not with steel printing. I don't know their budget but they didn't flinch when I quoted a high figure for the possible cost of the steel print, so I think they have some money.
