I would like to build a radio tray for my RC helicopter for mounting electronics but the current SLS nylon parts I have made don't stick well when using 3M 4011 tape with the VHB adheasive to mount them. Anyone have any ideas or advice? The SLS nylon is plenty strong enough but I can't get anything to stick to it.

Maybe it helps, the surface to be painted with clear lacquer.
The paint should adhere to the porous surface well.
A smooth surface is good for the tape

Hey thanks. I tried coating what I had with CA. Seemed to wok better but is still lacking. I'll try your suggestion and epoxy next.

Personally, I'd go with some kind of gap filling adhesive, or maybe a silicone based product as might be used to fit oven glass into the oven door (very sticky stuff).
