I hope you all like it! https://shpws.me/vp20

PS: Shapeways your worker left a fingerprint on the product! And it is no way to clean it! So take note for the future!

Send them a clearer picture of the fingerprint so they know who to flog. :)
Surely if this is just a fingerprint on the silver it should be possible to remove it - it should not be anything worse than silver sulfide. (I would try wrapping it in aluminium foil and boiling it in salt water for a few minutes) Or did somebody mishandle the wax master, leaving a real, tactile imprint in the part ??

    Dunno ... client photos.

I have full resolution photos if Shapeways want to have a look.

Too bad. (You could have tried to pass it off as a very valuable imprint of the artist's finger, seal of authenticity or something like that...) Still the aluminium foil trick should not hurt.

My design part it is flawless ... I do expect the same from the ones that touch it.
    ..
HINT! : Shapeways ask them to wear medical gloves! Fingerprint matches an owner so ...if it would say "not my fault!!!" ... "give the thumb ...right here!" =))

Is that fingerprint on the lower left leaf/heart? Looks like someone touched it with something on their finger that has started to oxidise the surface.

I agree Glen, I know I have acidic sweat that would cause this.

Err, isn't that what he wrote himself directly below the pictures ? Surely something like this should not get sent to shop customers...

They are only pictures I have and client provided.

    I use what I have ...

Um, yes, except that in reality that could have come from the first person to touch it after it arrived, and might not have shown up until a few days later. We can only assume that his client noticed it on arrival...

You have a point there. Actually we do not even know if his customer complained about the fingerprint at all or if I was just jumping to conclusions (though the "and there is no way to remove it" bit suggests that he or she did). I would expect surface oxidation to go away with the kitchen electrochemistry I suggested above.

    So we concede.

It is a beautiful product and a great push , it is really impossible to be made by traditional way , not on the same measures and thickness.

Really represents that some things can be made only by 3D printing.

If I was to sculpt this one in wax could be a nightmare due the levels in it.

I`m very happy how it looks and that succeeded 100% production status.

It feels like passing a big exam.

And demonstrate to myself I can push more one some ideas.

Thank you all for help , opinions and stuff!
