separate parts

    So I know in the description for silver, it says that multiple parts are not permitted.
    However, when printing components for a hinge, I uploaded an .obj with 3 separate parts;
    -a pin
    -the main jewellery piece
    -a piece that will clip in

    And I received no errors.
    Would I get the error as it was checked over at order time?
    Or is Shapeways allowing the pieces due to their tiny size?

    I believe the automated check is for more basic things like bounding box size limits (both maximum and minimum), material thickness, and other fundamental properties. I don't think it looks for violations of "mulitple part" rules and such.

    Correct, if you order, it should fail when it goes through a manual check.
