I designed an I phone case for production by Shapeways and the cost of production is $36. Some cases are on sale for under $20. What can I do to reduce these costs. If I reduce wall thicknesses perhaps hollow out back? etc. any Suggestions would be appreciated.
It depends on your intended material and intended design. All but Ceramics are based on cubic material used. For the most part, the less material you use, the less expensive your piece will be.
