No, there isn't a reason, just i like it

First of all, cool axes !

I was thinking the same thing about the loop, looking at the scale of the pendant the loop could easily bend or break when the Axe becomes caught behind something

I see you've already closed the loop, that's what i call Rapid Prototyping
