  1. Hello.. am new to this site and wish some advice... I'm trying to get into the Rapid prototyping Manufacturing industry... I've been 3D modeling in various medium apps for seven years now mostly as a hobby only and selling a few models until now.. Rhino has been my main app... I'm now looking for a school..
    I picked up a book:
    Rapid Prototyping..
    Principles and applications in Manufacturing..
By: Chua Chee Kai / Leong Kah Fai.. (1996)

Lots have happened since 1996.... Know of a good more current introduction book please let me know... I can also use some advice as to what I'm getting into.. RP is new and hope to get employment... Any good pointers would be appreciated...
Hope I posted in the right forum..

    Tom

    Welcome!

I found this one that was published in February. At the speed of technology, even it will be outdated soon.

  3. Hey! I did not get the book's name nor did I see any links.... Thank you for responding...

Yes, everything written becomes obsolete very fast.... The "Next Engine" is not even in consideration in my book..

I just received this book that I won on Instructables.

  10. Looks interesting... The book I'm reading I guess is more of a soft technical introduction book...

    Thank you for the link...
