unellenu @juddchristopher3589 Shapeways uses a different machine than I believe that you have, the machine used is an EOS Formiga P100 SLS machine shown here on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBNGnfoGGfQ . A laser beam is used to sinter layers of fine powder together. The sls nylon plastic is flexible, works well with moving parts and achieves a very good level of detail.
