Slim Gauge 3D
I started this shop for two reasons: I couldn't find Sn3 steam domes and I figured I was a better 3D modeler than a wood carver (clerestory roof). I've always seen 3D printing as a great new way to produce parts for model railroading. I don't see 3D printing as a replacement for existing commercial parts, but as a source for unique and hard-to-find models.
I intend to post more models as time goes by, mostly for Sn3 but also for On3/30 and 1:20.3.

The printing process uses wax as a support material. Before painting, wash each piece with acetone then rinse with warm water to remove the minimal wax residue. Be sure to review 'frosted ultra detail' in the Shapeways materials section to get a better understanding of the material and the printing process.
