These models have been designed mostly to satisfy my desire to model the modern era broad gauge freight trains seen out my office window everyday. Some of these items are also appropriate for standard gauge interstate operations.
Top of my list is the "steel train" that travels between Melbourne and the BlueScope Steel steelworks at Hastings, Victoria. I have worked for or with BHP and BlueScope Steel for the last 20 years.
Second on my list is the "paper train" that travels between the Port of Melbourne and the APM paper mill in Maryvale, north of Morwell.
Some of the models are intended to be cheap and therefore not well detailed while others are detailed, requiring the frosted detail plastic and therefore are more expensive. Please feel free to make whatever use of these suits your needs.
