Sacred Symmetry

I utilize my background in engineering to design ornamental objects. My designs rely heavily on geometric constraints (tangency, concentricity, etc...) and different types of symmetry (rotation and reflection) as the foundation for their creation. I also like to incorporate mathematical relationships and/or equations into the designs as a mechanism to control their overall appearance. I'm inspired by geometric patterns and ornaments from ancient cultures. I enjoy using modern tools (CAD software, 3D printing, etc...) to create new objects, based on historic designs.
