Riverman Models

Featuring small-scale aircraft models designed using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
About
Greetings Small-Scale Modelers!

I designed most of the models in this shop 4-5 years ago, and they were available from Click-2-Detail (C2D) until they went out of business.  At the urging of others, I have recently uploaded most of my models to this Shapeways shop.

All of my models printed great at C2D, who used a material very similar to, if not the same as, the Smooth Fine Detail Plastic material, which is the recommended material for my models.  When I uploaded the models, I included the White Natural Versatile Plastic because it is cheaper and would save people money.  At the time I did not know if Shapeways would print the models in either material.  I still do not know about many of the parts.

All of the parts pass an initial screening, but due to minimum size restrictions in place by Shapeways, based on their manufacturing process, and not printing capabilities, Shapeways has refused to print some of my parts for sale to others. They will however, allow me to print them as “Print It Anyway”, which I have done for a few customers, and all of the parts have arrived in excellent condition.

If a part is not printable in a material, Shapeways removes that material, and sometimes the part, from my shop.  If you see a model part missing from the shop, and you want one, contact me.

My hope is that people will get as much enjoyment out of building my models that I got out of designing them. My reward is seeing pictures of the master pieces people turn my canvases into.

Happy Modeling!

Russ
