Pro Pole Mount

The Pro Pole Mount was designed by Portland, Oregon-based photographer, Matthew G. Monroe. Mr. Monroe is also the designer and builder of the Nasty Clamp – the flexible photography clamp.

For those who aren't familiar with the Nasty Clamp, it's certainly worth a moment of your time to visit the Nasty Clamps website: www.nastyclamps.com

Don't worry... The Nasty Clamps site is totally safe for work.
There are many decent accessories available for the GoPro camera system, but very few that go beyond being simply good.

The Pro Pole Mount is a GREAT accessory, and a great addition to your kit – one that you'll use on a regular basis.

The Pro Pole Mount allows you, the videographer, to attach your GoPro camera and its housing to a standard painter's pole*.

And what's so great about that?

Well, painters' pole are available in any hardware store, can be purchased relatively inexpensively, are extendable, collapsible,
and – when combined with the Pro Pole Mount – are absolutely perfect for doing overhead and tracking shots.

You'll end up using your Pro Pole Mount for shooting action sports, corporate projects, events, real estate videos, weddings,
and even commercial productions.

*As a quick sidenote, the Pro Pole Mount should only be used with United States' painter poles. Other portions of the globe
(and this includes Canada and Mexico) use a different threading (metric) for their painter poles.

As a second quick sidenote, your Pro Pole Mount is 3D printed in plastic, and will need a 5mm acorn nut (available at almost
any hardware store for about 50¢) along with the "long mounting screw" from your GoPro kit in order to attach your camera
and housing to the Pro Pole Mount. Unfortunately, printing out a metal acorn nut and a long metal mounting screw would
be prohibitively expensive, and so you'll have to supply those two items on your own.
