I'm Micah Ganske and I like to make things. For most of my adult life I focused on making fine-art things. You know stuff to be shown in galleries and bought by rich people. The thing is, I don't like making the same thing over and over again, and I'm really sick of only selling things to rich collectors. I started Micahbot.com as a platform for me to continue making art things, as well as less artsy things, with the goal of giving the files away for free. Everything I make from now on, will be available for download so that anyone with a 3D or 2D printer can make it for themselves for free. For people who don't mind spending a bit of coin and just want to buy a nice finished print, I have them covered through this Shapeways shop. The point is that technology has amazing potential to democratize art and design, so let's stop talking about it and make it happen!
