The Paramotor Parawing Pin is designed by Trond Nyman Aarre and modelled in 3D by Tom Idland.
With nearly 30 years of history, paramotoring is no longer to be considered a pioneering activity. And it has been said that any established air sport with self respect has its own wing. This page presents the proposal for a new official parawing for paramotor pilots worldwide.
Over 200 wings from 24 nations have been reviewed in the process of developing the new parawing, designed by Trond Nyman Aarre, in cooperation with graphic designer Solveig Kvadsheim. Trond has 25 years of experience from air sports, amongst others skydiving, paragliding, paramotoring, gliding, micro lights, and more. He was also the first paramotor pilot in Scandinavia, and leader of the Norwegian Motorised Paragliding Committee under Norwegian Aero Club until 1992. Trond has over 1500 flight hours, a passionate paramotor pilot and a brand developer by occupation.
Even if the parawing originally was designed with Norwegian paramotor pilots in mind, we encourage other nations to use the parawing as their own official parawing.
