Mauro Gelardi

The sculptor Mauro Gelardi was born in 1984 in Palermo, where he now lives and works.
He trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and Bologna, where he specialized in visual arts and sculpture.
Since 2011 he has been making sculptures for public and private clients and collaborates with artists, art galleries and craft workshops for the creation of complex works.
In his work he uses traditional techniques of sculpture, as well as the tools offered by new technologies such as digital modeling and 3D printing for the prototyping of models to be used in traditional sculpture.
The materials most used in his work are marble, precious metals such as bronze and silver, and terracotta.
His works can be found in private collections in Italy and abroad, as well as in various places of public interest.
