Many of the models in this shop are based on American or Canadian prototypes with an emphasis on those prototypes not likely to be produced by any established model train manufacturer. Whenever possible, field measurements are taken from the prototype and accurate drawings are prepared to create the 3D models. Tracklaying tools are available to assist the modeler in plotting accurate curves, tangents and spiral easements using flexible track. A variety of straight track tool lengths are available, as well as a wide array of curve templates from small curves to broad. Special tools are available for US Free-mo module builders to aid in placing track at the end of modules in the alignment prescribed by the Free-mo standard.
