Brianmtaylor

Hello and welcome! My name is Brian Taylor, bet you couldn't tell haha. To be honest I couldnt figure out an appropriate brand design so i decided my signature is more or less my corporate brand so why not my creative brand! Anyway,  I really enjoy designing functional, useful, and beautiful products. Often these are really simple and sleek modern products, so if thats your thing, Im your man.  Thanks for stopping by!
About
Here I will tell you my very long, and very interesting ,story. Well at least its interesting to me haha. Anyway, I feel like being open and honest is the best way to establish trust and for some reason I havent gotten to video taping my self again, becuase looking back Im incredibly embarassed with everything I did between ages 21 - 24... So Im trying to avoid it at all costs. ANYWAY, back in college I got this crazy idea. "Im going to make the swiss army knife of phone cases.." yes Brian, I love where this is going.. "And its going to be made out of neon orange duct tape" dear god why...
Regardless of my incredible style decisions, I set out on what would be the greatest idea I ever had. So I worked tirelessly. Assembling the case by wrapping my iphone 3s with neon orange duct tape. Making several slots for credit cards, a slot for my USB stick, and of course a slot for my dorm key. I was so proud of that stupid case. Everyone asked me about it, and I would love to talk endlessly about the secret compartments. This is until.. I discovered a 3D Printer. I was shell shocked. You're telling me I can upload a design to a USB, plug it into this machine, and i can have a prototype in a matter of hours?! I was hooked. I would print revision after revision on those machines, and eventually I wound up with close to 30 different prototypes. I thought this thing would change the world. lol, maybe not the world, but I thought it was a pretty cool idea. Eventually this lead me to thinking I could start my own business. So after my Junior year Mechanical Engineering Co-op I bought a printer, hunkered down in my parents spare room, and decided to give it a shot. To be honest I worked pretty hard on what it was I was doing, but I was absolutley clueless as to how to properly run a business. So those years were filled with quite a bit of learning..
