General Outset Design shop disclaimer:
- If you're interested in one of my model in a different scale or some form of variant, feel free to ask me, and I'll check if it's doable.
- If you'd like me to make a model for you, feel free to ask me. If it's something I have an interest in and I have the time to, I might consider it.
- No, I do not sell my 3D files, please stop asking. I don't care that you have a desktop printer at home, I didn't work dozens of hours on a model for it to end up on Thingiverse.
- No, I cannot make it cheaper. Prices are controlled by Shapeways, all I can do is add a margin on it, and my usual margin is around 10%, so when you pay a 100$, 90$ goes to Shapeways, and I, the creator, the one who did all the work, gets 10$, which doesn't even comes close to covering this hobby's costs. Think about that before asking me to sell or give away my files or making it cheaper please.
- Shapeways has a bad habit of "updating" (add, remove, modify) their available materials and pricing system way too often. It's impossible for me to keep up with those stupid changes all the time, so some of my models available materials/prices may be out of date. Feel free to ask me if in doubt.

About
I'm an Architect and Designer with a wide array of skills and experiences. I like to re-think usual daily objects or make totally new ones. I don't stick to a specific kind of object, I like to study all kind of things, no matter what they're for. What I like is the balance between design and functionality. More often than not, objects are either fully-functional but with no design, or have a good design, but at the expense of functionality. I like to try to create objects with the right balance of both. I'm a DIY kind of person, I work with 3D printing, laser cutting, and a great variety of tools and materials, and I enjoy prototyping until I feel an object as attained my goal for it, after which I move on to a new project.
