I began working in clay, then wood, and then some stone at an early age. While I have always been interested in building models from scratch, that interest was confined to ships, boats and outrigger canoes and polynesian sailing vessels and air planes. My interest in models soon turned into a valuable skill for building custom furniture and cabinets. My work appeared in local craft galleries for a while and I was also featured in The Best of Tables and Chairs

When I’m not sculpting or making parts for my trains, I’m writing or playing with my grandkids. Here is a link to my current collection of  fiction

I’m working on a nonfiction book tentatively titled, “3D 4 the $ impaired” As the title implies this will be dedicated to covering the cheap or free products I use to make figures and parts.
