With this axle the width is the same as with stock Yota 2 axles. Due to the narrow leaf spring mounts you get better steering. The leaf mounts are exactly 14mm narrower than on a stock Yota2 axle.
The mods on the frame side for narrower leaf springs can be seen here:
http://rccrawler.at/index.php?thread/6065-bauertom-daniels-baut-special-k-jeep-tf2-swb-2-0-mit-k44-simpel-und-schnell/
The design also allows to put the pumpkin on the side you want.
The XVDs have to be cut and flattened for the right length!
The shocks can be mounted with parts from a RC4WD 4link kit or custom made parts.
If you have any questions fee free to ask!
EVO3 Updates:- Space for 5x8x2.5 mm bearings in the C-hub
- recesses to use the stock differential cover when flipping the axle (previously you needed to use the ARB cover or drill those recesses yourself)
Deutsch:
