Model of the 2nd class carriage shown in Plate CCCCXXIX , "Practical Treatise on Railways", published in the 7th edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica, 1839, by Lt. Peter Lecount RN.

LeCount served as an engineer on the L&BR and his description of the construction and early operation of the railway is the most complete to have survived. As far as is known, this model is an accurate represtentation of the original 2nd class carriages used on the L&BR from 1837.

This is a a complete one-piece 3D model printed in sintered nylon to gauge 1 (10mm/ft) scale. Requires paint, couplings and Slaters split spoke wheels to complete.
