Designed from an original 1920's Hicks drawing, scaled to 20" dia. x 17" pitch (1:1), or 2.5" dia x 2.2" pitch as a 1:8 scale model.
Only offered in "raw" brass and bronze (investment cast); blade tips are < 0.8mm, too thin for Shapeway's polishing program.
I heartily recommend BRONZE- it is harder and stronger than brass, and has a more realistic color. But brass can sure take a shine.
Hub is extended aft for chucking in a lathe; hole is sized as a pilot for M4 tap drill. After tapping, mount the prop on a threaded arbor and machine off the excess hub length. CONTACT ME before ordering if you are interested in having me machine a prop for you.
3D print lines will be visible in the casting; blade polishing and balancing is left to the buyer.
Photos show surface finish as-delivered from Shapeways.
