Product Description
This product is conceived for expert modelers to discover and enjoy a new experience.
This product is compatible with the F488 body manufactured by Carrera.
The Alfacode for compatibility with other components designed for the same car model is BC.
All components identified as “xBCxxxx” are compatible and replaceable.
The Kit includes the Main chassis, the sidewinder Inner chassis, four spring Retainers, and two dedicated no-spring Retainers.
The power train configuration is a sidewinder short can motor.
This Inner chassis accepts single flanged ball bearings or bushings.
The front axle height of the is adjustable using M1 grub screws.
The two rear side posts on the main chassis are dedicated to limit the vertical travel of the Inner Chassis.
A light rework of the serial interior may be necessary to allow space for the motor, and when using 18 mm diameter crowns. Install a Lexan interior for best performance.
Suspension springs Retainer can be installed at all four Main to Inner chassis posts.
Alternatively, the Standard Retainers can be installed at the forward interface posts without springs.
The angle winder and side winder crowns are both suitable.
Pinion/crown best matches are: 7.5 / 16.8 mm; Alternatively, you may use 6.75/17.5 mm or 6.5/18.0 mm. (not included)
