Candy Canes Wax Seal

This seal is for making impressions on sealing wax in the form of crossed candy canes. The design was created using a 3D model of a candy cane to get the stripes juuuuust right - rather than straight lines, they are splines that curve at the ends. This makes the canes look more rounded and life-like. The top surface is also slightly domed to enhance the effect.

This would look particularly nice used with a white or red sealing wax, and is perfect for secular or non-denominational holiday cards. Or go ahead and call them Christmas cards anyway. We even have a limited supply of peppermint scented red wax especially to go with this seal. The wax used in these photos was Red and Bone White, mixed to swirl rather than blend uniformly - that's just because the red alone didn't want to behave for the camera!

The top of the handle is marked to make it much easier to align the impression and avoid setting it crooked.

This particular version is in beta right now as I'm experimenting with a slightly thinner version of my base seal model
