Product Description
This is a silenced exhaust hatch for EMD and GMD 40-series locomotives. We also offer a version without the exhaust stack for use with etched metal detail kits, such as the Kaslo Shops VIA Rail F40PH-2 Detail Kit.
It was used on the following EMD locomotives, as well as their Canadian (GMD) counterparts:
GP40
GP40-2
SD40
SD40-2
F40PH
F40PH-2
F40PH-2D
As well as many other varieties of the 40-series locomotives. Check prototype photos for accuracy!
