Product Description
This is an N Scale model of Victorian Railways' BV Class carriage.
This model requires (HBVC) BV Chassis, Microtrains 1017 4 Wheel Lightweight passenger car trucks with adjustable couplers and painting to complete.
The carriages were introduced into the Victorian Railways in 1897 and ran until the mid 1960's. Between 1962 and 1970 the carriages were scrapped.
At the end of construction it is believed the number group was BV1 - BV26.
Between 1897 and 1907 these cars were in service with the OVERLAND (Melbourne - Adelaide) as OB Cars.
Cars OB 33 and 36 were from BV 23 and 6 respecively.
