Incense Burner Base

This piece forms the base of a charcoal incense burner. The top piece is a metal grill and is available separately. It has a wide base for stability to avoid tipping, and nubs to make it easy to pick up.

To use it, place the metal grill on top of the base so it forms a bowl for a charcoal tablet. Place the charcoal tablet on top of the grill and light it with a lighter. After a few minutes, when the coal is hot, place your favorite resin type incense on the coal. For example, you can use Frankincense, Myrrh, Copal, or Dragon's Blood. You may also try adding some fresh herbs like rosemary.
