High Speed Freight Vehicle 1 (hsfv1)

Made by
3D printed in white nylon plastic with a matte finish and slight grainy feel.
Product Description
This is the HSFV1 test chassis that was used as part of the development of the APT and a number of other suspension systems used on modern wagons, this is a representation of HSFV1 at one moment in it's life as a test vehicle it was subject to innumerable changes throughout its life. The real life HSFV1 is currently owned by the APT-E support group and is housed at the Electric Railway Museum in Coventry and is in the process of preservation. this requires 12mm disk wheels to complete and has a pocket for nem couplings, the design was taken from the original diagrams and the only concession to scale modelling is some cut-outs to enable the wheels to fit. there is also a pair of voids under the centre of the body to allow the fitting of ballast weights, there are now transfers available from Railtec Models for both liveries that this carried in service. Also fixed printing issues as of 26/Mar/14
