Product Description

Printing large ABS parts (greater than 3 inch cube) will often tear or warp unacceptably unless the air temperature is above 75C.  Stepper motors often heat up 25 to 50 C above ambient temperature, insulation on the stepper motor wires are in the 120 to 155 C range, additionally the stepper holding torque decreases as the temperature increases.  Using a liquid cooling the stepper motor temperatures to 40 C, which assure long reliable operation of the stepper motor as well as higher torque supporting high filament feed rates or high axis accelerations.  The coolant lines are connected by a compression slip fit on the OD of 1/8" PVC tubing.
