This helmet is based on a late 15th century sallet as seen in Helmschmied’s Thun sketchbook, and the 1480 'celata con gronda', South German origins, as currently expozed in the Palazzo Venezia, Rome, Italy.
Due to the spherical shape of the Playmobil heads, the sallet is tailored for a good fit while the typical proportions of a medieval sallet are optimally preserved.
This helmet is ready for battle, and will most certainly win your heart!
