Product Description
This harp switch stand is a freelance design derived from photo records. It is similar to a stand once used on the South Pacific Coast. Switch stands such as this were sourced through local or in-house foundries. It is intended to be "animated scenery" for O Scale (1:48) train displays. It uses the motion of the throwbar to shift the lever arm. It's not intended to be a manual switch throw for use with turnouts. It's provided with a lever arm but 0.020" x 0.060" brass stock can also be used.
