Knight's Spear - 1:4

Before the fancy jousting lances seen in tournament use, Knights would mount their trusted steeds and ride off with a long spear at the ready.  Here, we present to you the Head (point) and Butt (end) of such a Spear.  You complete the Knight's Spear by adding a 3/8" diameter wooden dowel (available at most craft and hobby shops) cut to the length you desire.**

This item is printed in White, Strong & Flexible plastic and as such, has a slightly rough surface texture out of the box.  It is suggested that you use a fine grit sandpaper to gently sand down* this surface texture to a smooth finish before priming and painting your Spear Ends.

There is a slight chance of the item arriving warped.  This is due to heat and other factors in the printing process.  If this happens, apply even heat wit a hair dryer until the plastic softens, then gently reporsition the pieces with your fings.  Allow it to cool in the corrected position to maintain the shape.

* Plastic sanding dust can be toxic if inhaled or ingested.  Please wear appropriate safety gear such as goggles and breathing mask when sanding Quarter Scale Armory models.
** Includes Spear Head and Butt ONLY.  3/8" dowel must be acquired separately.  Due to fluctuations in both printing and dowel production, you may need to remove/sand down material from either the dowel end or the inside wall of the spear ends to achieve a proper fit.
