This is the second version of this model. It has been updated to increase realism. Also available are the GR.9, FRS.1 and AV-8B Harrier II versions.
This kit is in 1/700 scale. It includes 12x FA.2 Sea Harriers. This version has one Fuel Tank under each wing. The aircraft are connected as a single sprue by a wire at the end of the tail of the aircraft. Once the wire is cut the aircraft do not require any finishing.
According to Wikipedia: "The British Aerospace Sea Harrier is a naval short take-off and vertical-landing/vertical take-off and landing jet fighter, reconnaissance and attack aircraft, a development of the Hawker Siddeley Harrier. It first entered service with the Royal Navy in April 1980 as the Sea Harrier FRS1 and became informally known as the "Shar". Unusual in an era in which most naval and land-based air superiority fighters were large and supersonic, the principal role of the subsonic Sea Harrier was to provide air defence of the fleet from Royal Navy aircraft carriers."
