Product Description
This kit allow you to glue together and paint 4 Victorian Street Lights.
The scenery is perfect as scatter terrain, and is modelled for 28-30mm scenery use. In a city setting, either Western, Steampunk, Fantasy or Gothic, these will add some life to otherwise desolate streets.

The models require the use of glue, either super or PVA.

A quick and easy guide to painting:
0: Base the model (See further down, as this is optional)
1: Prime the model black, either by brush or spray.
2: Drybrush a dark metal coating all over, build it up, but make sure some of that black primer still shows through, that'll make the metal seem more grimy.
3: Paint the rings in a golden or any other metallic colour; other than the one you just used.
4: Apply a base colour of a medium yellow to the inner pieces of the lamp (the glass)
5: Apply a wash to the yellow, make sure it goes into the corners.
6: Paint a lighter yellow into the middle of each square of the glass.
7: Apply a coat of mattte varnish to protect your model!

Basing:
Cut out a piece of 1x1 inch plasticcard, or use a 25mm base of sort. If possible weight down your base to stabilize the model. A nickles, local metal currency, or whatever metal is available is good.
Then glue the model to the middle of the base. Super glue is best here. Once dry apply an all over layer of PVA glue to the base, don't be afraid to get some of it onto the bottom of the model!
Then coat the PVA glue in sand, let dry overnight (~8 hours)
Once dried you can either Prime the whole model (Step 1-7) and paint it.
If you've already painted the model before basing the simply wash the dried sand with a brown wash, then drybrush with a light sand colour.
Last, apply a matte varnish!
