Product Description
Two HO versions of my T52 wood frame truck for cabooses, passenger cars. Specifically for HO, not just enlarged from the N scale model. 92" wheelbase, after a CB&Q/UP/Colorado Midland prototype in use from the 1880s until the end of cabooses on the CB&Q and nearly identical to many others.
Requires 33" wheelsets with ~1" axles. Reboxx metal wheels work great. 36" wheels may fit depending on flange size. Hole for mounting is .12" diameter, .07" deep not counting .3" diameter recess for screw head. Top of bolster at mounting surface is .134" above axle centers.
Wicking in some thin CA glue will strengthen parts.
Because of their fine detail, Smoothest or Smooth Fine Detail are the preferred materials, others will show varying degrees of surface roughness or indistinct, overly smooth detail. Most other materials may not even print because of the thin sections. Part HOT52s
