Product Description
Aegyptopithecus zeuxis is an early fossil catarrhine, meaning it predates the split between apes and Old World monkeys. In other words, this is the common ancestor between us (Homo sapiens) and monkeys like baboons. Aegyptopithecus zeuxis was discovered in 1965 in the Faiyum Depression, Egypt - hence the name.

This is the perfect piece if you love science, collect curiousities, or or always wanted to. It also makes a great gift for someone who has everything. This is an original piece of paleoart based on published scientific papers. It is a truly one-of-a-kind creation made by an actual anthropologist! Me.

The model was created with Blender and textured in Substance Painter. I have successfully printed this model using the Matte Full Color Sandstone material (see product images). This material requires the highest level of detail so you can purchase this or other materials with piece of mind.
