Product Description
This kit is a set of one each of 32 foot pinnace, 26 foot launch, 24 foot cutter and 18 foot cutter, as used on ships from around 1750 to around 1850. Dimensions are taken from the british frigate ones from around 1800.
This was a common boat set used on frigates. Mainly carried on the deck, sometimes hanged behind the stern on davits, and in very hot weather or in battle usually towed behind the ship.
Very similar boats are still in use today in harbor service or seaman training.
You can use them for example for your scratch build projects, or for refining the Meridian/Skytrex ships.
