O Gauge Bulleid Leader Scratch Aid – Cabs & Ashpan

A commission piece, this scratch aid provides the cab interiors and ashpan of Bulleid’s experimental ‘Leader’ class steam locomotive.  Originating as a jumbo-ised N Gauge engine, it has been suitably altered to be scale for 7mm O Gauge – a large model overall at almost 47cm over buffers.  Importantly, it is only intended as a scratch aid: additional details (eg smokebox dart, reverser levers, reverser cylinder) need to be added.  Also available for this locomotive are bogie sides and body shell (a chassis will have to be created by the builder).
