Revell/Monogram's Voyager (Intrepid class) big model (1/677) is known to be affordable and well detailed. But it is also known for flaws regarding proportion and some details. A quite obvious one (and easy to replace) are the nacelles. So I designed proper nacelles for this model according to pictures of the original studio model. They are designed to be lit using LEDs and a 10cm cold cathode. The translucent parts to be lit and a cover (to access for maintenance and facilitate installation) are separate. The cover is to be attached to the nacelle using magnets. The separation of these parts also facilitates painting (it avoids the necessity of masking) and leads to no visible seams. Recommended material: Frosted Detail. The model has not yet been printed (first version is on the way)!
