This is a model of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The Temple was built by the Jews in the year 350 BCE and stood for 420 years. During this time it was renovated by Herod the Great who also made some changes to the design. My model shows what the Temple looked like as it originally stood. The design is based on the measurements given in the
Mishnah (Tractate
Middos).
