ARVX-1C Arapaho

Replacing its external weapons and minigun turret with a rotary autocannon chambered in 35mm caseless, the ARVX-1C is intended for operators without the budget to expend large quantities of costly guided munitions. It is seen in limited numbers in air cavalry troops, where its capacity for suppressive fire is valued during troop insertions into hot landing zones. The C-model's sensor turret is relocated to the port-side stub wing to protect it from the cannon's immense muzzle blast, and protective armor plating has been fitted to the nose for the same reason.
