3D printed in delicate and grainy, with a coarse finish and sand-like color.
In the future, I might be able to make it in more materials by changing the orientation so it fits in the boundary box, but right now I'm a bit busy. I DO NOT YET KNOW if it is strong enough to withstand a bit of gentle waving about (shapeways, fyi, said it would be fine). Please let me know immediatly if it breaks, and I'll try to arrange a free replacement for the first person who reports why/how it broke, when, how long you've had it roughly, and an image (if possible) of the entire product (DISCLAIMER: I am NOT going to replace a steel, gold-plated, or similar model. If you're the first person to buy it, buy plastic/sandstone or wait for someone else to buy plastic/sandstone. If that breaks, I will give you a full, free replacement if you report the details as listed above. I don't have that kind of cash). Anyone other than the first person to report it can also use shapeway's full money-back guarantee (the button for which is positioned just above the 'BUY NOW' button) to get all of their money back.
If you want to purchase a more sturdy or prettier version, such as anything other than plastic and/or sandstone, I suggest you wait until someone or you buy a plastic/sandstone version first, so I can find out if it withstands a bit of waving about without breaking.
