GWR O35 Medfit

Only two of these wagons were built, specifically for carrying Portland stone in containers of the DX type. According to Atkins et al, the only GWR wagons to be coded medfit, or have diagonal strapping on the sides. They were probably quite unusual in having only a small central door like a high, instead of drop sides, and presumably were not branded with "not to be used to carry containers". This model is designed to 2mm:1ft scale and still to fit onto the Peco 10ft wb steel sole bar chassis kit with the buffers and buffer beams cut off first. Add a tie bar between the bottoms of the W-irons, too. Go on, you know you want one! There were more than 2 of those for real, and you can also load them on other suitable wagons such as conflats.
