Product Description

Bone House: Ellyba is one of a number of Gollums that can be purchased separately. A Gollum is a simulacra of a Human, Spirit or Ancestor. It could also represent a non-human concept, if that suits you.

Note: That in my photo example, Ellyba is holding a "Headdress" that arches over its head. This Headdress is sold separately in various different colors.

Who: Bone House Ellyba is a good House for representing the Clients Ancestors, because this has a tribal feel to the design.  But you may choose to have it represent yourself, for your own Readings. Or it can represent the Client that you are Reading for. Or perhaps it represents The Shaman. You can also print it in different materials. So, you may want multiple versions. For example: 3 of these Gollums could be used, one for Client Id, One for Client Ego, and one for Client Super-Ego.

Note: You may intentionally choose to separate the Headdress from the Gollum. This can be useful in a Casting. As conceptually, these two pieces are connected. So if they fall close together, it has a different meaning than if they are apart. And if they sit separately, then their surroundings are connected too.

The Eye: Inside this Gollum is a round ball. This is intended to represent either an eye, or consumption. As in, the Gollum has eaten something, or is full of something. For the eye aspect, there is a hole in the ball that represents an iris. Sometimes the iris will peek out through the belly. In this case, it is awake. Otherwise, you can think of it as being asleep.

The Iris: There is an Iris that I plan to sell separately, so that you can print it in a different color.  So, you can make it a red eye, or a blue eye. etc. For the Small version of Ellyba, the print piece is so small, that it may not print well. An alternative is for you to carefully paint a color inside the iris-hole of the ball.

The Belly Button: I may also sell a belly Button. The value of this, is to lock the ball into facing one side of the Gollum. Either the Big Head Side, or the Big Belly Side. You could also lock the eye sideways, if you want to suggest that the eye is looking at other Houses nearby.

Two Sided: This design also has two sides. On one side, the Gollum has a large head. On the other the head is small, but the belly is large. A good way to attach meaning to this, is that the Large Head deals with matters of the head.

Large Head: Headache, Head Games, Intellect, Ego, Consiously Aware, Thinking, Thinking too much, Plans, Child, etc.

Large Torso: Heart, Big Heart, Hungry, Devourer, Emotions, Emotional, Gut Instinct, Intuition, Needy, Needs, Protective, Obese, Consumption, etc.

Human Story: As always, a Gollum has a somewhat human (or animal) quality to them. So, if something falls near the feet, during the casting, then the Gollum might be standing on it, or it is at the Gollums mercy. If the item falls near the head, then it could be influencing the thinking of the Gollum, or trying to control the Gollum. (One of your Gollums will likely represent the Client). If the item falls near the hand, then the Gollum might be trying to hold onto it, to take it, steal it, give it, embrace it, toss it away, etc.

Headress Dislodged: The Headress can be thought of as a separate Bone House. It is sold as such, and can have its own meanings. Since the Gollum is hold it up, it could mean Decoration, Vanity, Presentation, Best foot forward, Status, Possession, Hands Full, Ownership, etc. If the Headress gets dislodged during the Casting, and falls separately, then it could mean Loss, Separation, Disregard, Disprespect, Sharing, Loaned, Given, Divided, In two Places, Dont put so much importance on Material Wealth, etc.
