Product Description
Otherwise unrelated to it's WWII namesake, the British Aircraft Corportation's "Grand Slam" was a proposed armament for the BAC TSR.2; a rocket-boosted “loft” bomb with a projected 100 nm range, onboard battery of radar decoys, and a CEP of approximate 1 nautical mile…with a 1+ megaton warhead.
This weapon was never produced, an existing information is somewhat fragmentary. But it’s now available, exclusively at The Arsenal, for your scale model projects!
“Grand Slam” was apparently intended to be carried semi-recessed by it’s launching aircraft; this model includes one attachable upper fin on a sprue, to be fitted or left out as needed.
