Product Description

Single-piece chassis with wheels printed in situ. This is to see if it is possible for the wheels to rotate freely after cleaning, though cleaning may not be easy. If it fails then hopefully either the wheels can be removed without breaking the chassis, or the axles can be broken to remove them, and two-piece wheelsets assembled in their place after cleaning. UPDATE: The wheels are easy to add and remove without breaking the single piece chassis anyway so there is no need to print wheels in situ. Also, printed in situ the pinpoints and possibly also the bearing surfaces lose a little definition (see my notes about experimental wheels). As delivered, they would not turn freely at first and freeing them seems to have damaged the pinpoints (not surprising) so all things considered this is not really worth doing, hence not for sale. I'm happy to change that if you want to see for yourself: send me a message.
