Product Description
Built by Head Wrightson & Co in the 1870s, this model represents their best-known design – the vertical boiler geared industrial shunter affectionately nicknamed ‘coffee pots’.  Used from the Victorian Era up to the 1950s, this specific prototype worked for the Dorking Lime Company and is now preserved at Beamish.

This scratch aid provides a simple-to-assemble unpowered N Gauge model, only requiring couplings, weight and wheels to complete.  Coupled to a motorised flatbed or other motorised stock (each separately available, plus free-rolling coaches and trucks), a fully working N Gauge train can be created.

NOTE: for ease of painting the cylinders/motion are a separate component to be glued in place behind the tank.  During production it is attached to the footplate by several sprues which need removing.

Necessary to Complete:
Graham Farish steam locomotive front bogie (the older version with very small wheels; only the wheels themselves are needed).  These can be easily acquired as spares such as via http://brlines.co.uk/original-farish-spares/
Couplings (holes for wire are pre-drilled)
Weight (to add inside the boiler, tank and bunker)

Optional additional details to scratchbuild (at the builder's discretion):
Buffers (locating holes provided)
Regulator
Reverser lever (its base is ready-included)
Safety valve
Coal and crew
Coupling rods (the wheels can be drilled to accept pins if required)

I hope you enjoy this unusual and eye-catching model.
