The AIM-9 Sidewinder is a short-range air-to-air missile which entered service with the US Navy in 1956 and subsequently was adopted by the US Air Force in 1964. Since then the Sidewinder has proved to be an enduring international success, and its latest variants are still standard equipment in most western-aligned air forces. The AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile, or AMRAAM (pronounced amm-RAM), is an American beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) capable of all-weather day-and-night operations.
Both missiles have been released in various configurations, but this 1:200 scale model is a specific combination requested that combines two of each into a four-rack launcher, assembled into a total of six launchers. Enjoy!
