Modelled after the turban jewel as seen on a tryptych in the National Gallery in Warsaw, Poland.
Those of you who wear turbans on a regular basis know that a small brooch easily 'disappears' on the large surface of this large piece of headwear. Hence this jewel is anything but small.
As the turban is already a complex shape with lots of lines, this hat jewel is kept as plain as possible. The leaves have slight bends in order to reflect sunlight in multiple directions, which adds a great shine. The large square gemstone slot can hold a 12x12 square or pyramid-shaped gemstone of your choice.
Two eyelets on the back allow easy sew-on, or attachment with a safety pin.
